How I Got Here

I’ve always been fascinated by health and wellness. I studied biology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, then got a masters degree in epidemiology at Emory University. I spent long hours in labs and analyzing data. It was meaningful work, but something was missing: real connection. I wanted to work with actual humans—not just numbers. I didn’t want to just analyze health—I wanted to help people live it.

In 2020, I quit my job to become an ADAPT-Certified Functional Health Coach. During my 12-month training, I learned the tools to help people transform their lives—motivational interviewing, positive psychology, habit formation, and accountability. I discovered how to combine nutrition, sleep, movement, and stress management into a personalized plan that works for each individual.

Becoming a health coach was life-changing. I love helping people simplify wellness, ditch the overwhelm, and create habits that stick. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients live a life they didn’t know was possible.

On the side, I’m honored to work as a trainer for an incredible nonprofit that provides physical therapy to individuals with neurological and mobility impairments. Helping people walk again inspires me to keep learning and giving back to my community.
